After growing up in Denver I graduated from Arizona State University & moved to Tennessee … met my wife, Mary Frances, and did some radio announcing for Nashville's GRAND ‘OLE OPRY.
We raised our son & daughter, Denny & Molly, in various places broadcasting opportunities eventually took us.
That included LONDON for a couple of years while I worked for Telmar Communications as V.P. of their European operations … then back to the U.S. to manage several radio & TV stations.
Being an avid SKYDIVER I’ve jumped out of small airplanes 80+ times. (Little planes are dangerous that’s why you need to jump out of ‘em.)
Then discovered an adrenaline rush can also
be found as an ACTOR ... with less chance of getting KILLED.
That led to playing a judge who likes wearing women's clothes in the movie comedy "Scamelot", and later being an accident-prone character for a TV commercial filmed in Singapore.
Other films include “Pathfinders”, a WWII drama playing an American General opposing the invasion of Normandy … and was cast as the title character in “Franklin Wunder” – the story of a man trying to do something "good" for the world on the last day of his life.
Yep ... I even MURDERED a couple of guys in "Flying Solo" (I HAD to, it was in the script) - but redeemed myself somewhat as a Catholic priest in "Where There Is Darkness".
